Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz is a versatile guitarist and singer renowned for his fluid, soulful sound and improvisational approach. He co-founded Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO) while studying Ethnomusicology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. ALO has released nine albums, with the last six on Jack Johnson's Brushfire Records, and tours internationally, headlining venues like San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium. Beyond ALO, Lebo leads his own band, Lebo & Friends, featuring various notable musicians. He is also a sought-after musical director and collaborator, performing with members of the Grateful Dead, including Bob Weir and Phil Lesh. When not touring, Lebo works in his studio, Leboland, composing, recording, and producing music.
