A ceilidh (pronounced "kay-lee") is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering that typically involves folk music, singing, storytelling, and, most notably, dancing. Ceilidhs often feature live bands playing instruments like fiddles, accordions, and drums, with a caller guiding participants through various group dances.

They’re lively, inclusive events where people of all ages can join in, even if they’re not experienced dancers. Ceilidhs are often held at weddings, festivals, and community events. Have you ever been to one?
