Independence Day 2023 in Grass Valley: the Parade in Photos
Residents of and visitors to Grass Valley, California attended the 2023 Independence Day parade through historic downtown Grass Valley. This year the parade route featured the debut of the redeveloped Mill Street Promenade as the focal point of the judging area, hosted by Supervisor Ed Scofield and his wife, Carol.
The family friendly event began at 10:00 a.m. on July 4th with the parade route terminating in Condon Park. Over eighty parade entries entertained parade viewers, showcasing submissions from a variety of organizations and community-led groups.
