We The People: The Time is Now for a Third Party
There’s growing support in Nevada County for Robert F. Kennedy for President. According to the Elections Office, over 400 Nevada County residents have changed their voting registration through the Secretary of State to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s ‘We the People’ party.
What’s driving this movement to a third party? For me, a lifelong Democrat, it’s been a disappointment in the way the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has conducted itself in the last two elections. Take for example the 2016 election between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton (not a popular candidate). Ruthless tactics by the DNC threw Bernie Sanders, the strongest candidate, under the bus. The result was a disastrous election victory for Donald Trump. I voted for Hilary.
In the last election Biden won by a very slim margin. Again, I voted for Biden. His popularity and viability as President have now waned significantly due to his support of the war in Ukraine. Biden’s disingenuous rhetoric of calling for a cease-fire and more aid to Gaza, while at the same time, funding Israel and sending bombs to kill Palestinian civilians, has caused many Democrats to leave the party
The media, funded by the pharmaceutical industry, has censored Kennedy, pegging him wrongly as an anti-vaxxer. If you read his book, The Real Anthony Fauci, you will learn he is not against vaccines per se. Kennedy is for randomized controlled trials for vaccines, something that did not happen with Operation Warp Speed, nor has it occurred with childhood vaccine safety testing.
Robert Kennedy Jr. was forced to establish the ‘We The People’ party because Biden and the DNC would not allow him on the primary ballot in several states as a Democrat. Once again, Biden and the DNC, fearing Kennedy’s popularity, played dirty tricks. Biden continues to refuse Kennedy secret service protection, something normally afforded to Presidential candidates.
If Kennedy had been allowed to remain a Democrat, it might have been game over for Biden. Now the fear rhetoric being thrown about is he will pull votes from Biden, thus giving the election to Trump. Interestingly Kennedy is also pulling disenfranchised Republican voters to ‘We the People’. Voters are fed up with both parties, whose inability to work for the good of all Americans is duly noted.

In 40 years as an environmental attorney, Kennedy fought and won lawsuits against hundreds of corporations and government agencies. He sued Mobil Oil to reverse its pollution of the Hudson River, making it safe to swim and fish again. He sued DuPont, Mitsubishi, and Ford, to force them to clean up chemical spills. Kennedy will end the humanitarian crisis at the Southern Border. His administration will enact deeper reforms to stem illegal migration in the long term while expanding lawful, orderly immigration according to principles of justice and fairness.
Ending the Disease Epidemic
The Kennedy plan is to transition the U.S. from a toxic, degenerative industrial food system to an organic regenerative system of agriculture. If elected President, Kennedy intends to create a firewall between the FDA, a regulatory agency, tasked with protecting the people, and the pharmaceutical industry. No more revolving door allowing pharmaceutical executives to run the FDA!

Kennedy served on the board of Restoration Plaza in Bedstuy, New York for 35 years. Ending redlining, and releasing investment capital turned Restoration Plaza into a thriving business community. Kennedy's plan will invest in urban and struggling communities.
Righting the Wrongs for Native Americans
From his father, Kennedy inherited a deep commitment to improving the lives of Native Americans. He believes that the federal government’s unfair dealings and broken treaties with the tribal nations are our nation’s original sin.
I support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for President because I choose common sense over partisan politics, cooperation over division, health over corporate profits, peace over war, and ethics over corruption.
