The Wild & Scenic Film Festival, produced by the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL), is an annual event in Nevada County, California, showcasing environmental and adventure films to inspire activism and a love for nature.
In 2025, the 23rd annual festival is scheduled for February 13-17 in Nevada City and Grass Valley, with a virtual component extending until February 23.
The 2025 theme, "Wild at Heart," emphasizes the power of wild places to inspire compassion and understanding of our world.
The festival will feature over 130 environmental and adventure films, including 14 world premieres, 7 U.S. premieres, 4 West Coast premieres, and 7 California premieres.
