Since 1902, the communities of Grass Valley and Nevada City rotate who hosts the 4th of July each year. Festivities include the beloved small-town parade, fireworks, and finishing off with the Streets Evening Festival.

A family outing that everyone from the young in age to the young at heart will enjoy. People begin to gather around 7:30 pm to enjoy lawn games, and the show begins at sunset (around 8:30ish). Beer, wine, popcorn, and soft drinks are available for purchase.

Steak & Prawn dinner supporting Nevada County Deputy Sheriffs Association. Join us for dinner, live auction, great raffles, and a good time. The cost is $40 per person or $500 per table. Doors open at 5:00pm with dinner beginning at 6:00pm.
